Overview

Audio Bible Journeys LLC ("Audio Bible Journeys," "we," "us," or "our") provides the Audio Bible Journeys mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the app and related services. The app is designed to work without creating an Audio Bible Journeys account.

Information stored on your device

The app stores certain preferences and activity locally on your device so it can remember how you use it. This may include your selected language, chosen journey, autoplay preference, completed episodes, listening progress, and similar app settings. Audio Bible Journeys LLC does not use this locally stored information to build a profile about you or track you across apps or websites.

Local information generally remains on your device until you clear the app's data or uninstall the app. Device backups may retain it according to your device or platform settings.

Google Play purchases

Premium access is offered as a one-time purchase through Google Play. Google processes the transaction under its own terms and privacy policy. We do not receive or store your full payment-card or bank-account information.

To confirm that premium content has been purchased, the app sends a Google Play purchase token to our verification service. The service checks the token with Google Play and, after successful verification, issues a short-lived authorization token used to access premium content. We use purchase information only to verify, provide, and restore the entitlement you requested, prevent unauthorized access, and troubleshoot purchase problems.

Content delivery and technical information

Audio, artwork, search indexes, and related app content are delivered using Cloudflare infrastructure. When your device requests this content, Cloudflare and our delivery systems may automatically process limited technical information, such as your IP address, request date and time, requested resource, device or network headers, and security or diagnostic information. This processing is used to deliver content, maintain reliability, prevent abuse, and protect the service.

Advertising and tracking

Audio Bible Journeys does not currently display advertising. The app does not use third-party advertising SDKs, behavioral advertising, or cross-app behavioral tracking, and we do not sell personal information. We do not use your listening activity to create an advertising profile.

Communications

If you contact us for support or another request, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address, message, and any diagnostic details you include. We use that information to respond, provide support, maintain records of the request, and protect the app and its users.

External links

The app or website may contain links to outside websites, services, charities, or resources. Those third parties operate independently and their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We encourage you to review those policies before providing information to an external service.

Children's privacy

Audio Bible Journeys is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review the matter and take appropriate action.

Data security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards intended to protect the information handled by our services. These include server-side purchase verification, restricted premium-content delivery, encrypted HTTPS connections, and short-lived authorization tokens. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

Data retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including providing the service, confirming purchases, responding to support requests, maintaining security, meeting legal obligations, and resolving disputes. Local preferences and progress remain on your device as described above. Short-lived premium authorization tokens expire automatically. Google Play and Cloudflare may retain information according to their own policies and legal obligations.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the app or our practices change. We will post the updated policy on this page and revise the effective date when changes take effect.
